Carl Addy is multi-disciplinary Creative Director and Director.

He delivers groundbreaking visual work in design, digital media and immersive VR technology. His craft in storytelling is always layered with playful affection and conceptual eye-bending entertainment. He works in both live action and animation, combining his obsession with music with his knowledge of digital trends and film making. 

Creative highlights include co-directing the VR film Guardian '6x9: A Virtual Experience of Solitary Confinement’. The film debuted at Sundance and Tribeca and was listed as The New York Times top film picks. 

Carl also wrote and directed the British Film Institute’s award winning ‘Film is fragile’ narrative; worked with Damien Hirst on concert visuals for U2’s Glastonbury headline show and Creative Directed The Hololens two player music game: Neon Knights. Including writing and producing the game’s synthwave song.

He has worked with brands like EA sport, Google, Facebook, Spotify and Nike. And recently helped launch the FIFA 20 game and in 2018 worked with the Portuguese Football federations world cup campaign. From the brand film, through to the merchandise that was sold.

He has also made highly acclaimed music videos for We Are Shining, called ‘Road’ and ‘Wheel’.

Carl has won advertising, design and direction awards. He is frequently invited to speak at creative conferences around the world such as SXSW, Cannes Lions, FITC. His topics focus on Modern Narrative, The Future Of Content and VR and Creative Challenges.
